Voices That
Change the World

Our mission is to carry on activities which benefit emerging poets, spoken-word artists, and poetry enthusiasts aged 18 to 30 — with a particular focus on underrepresented and marginalised groups within Greater Manchester, and beyond.

We use poetry, spoken word, and creative writing as tools to tackle social isolation, support positive mental health, prevent anti-social behaviour, and elevate unheard voices.

We deliver structured creative writing and performance workshops, professional development masterclasses, accessible public showcasing events, and community-led publishing initiatives — creating constructive creative outlets and fostering inclusive community networks.

Our activities provide direct benefit to young adults aged 18 to 30 by tackling social isolation, supporting mental well-being, and addressing the lack of affordable, career-entry opportunities in the creative arts.

Through our workshops, participants develop confidence, communication skills, and literacy. By providing high-quality training and performance platforms, we empower emerging writers with the tangible portfolio-building and networking tools needed to access employment or freelance work in the cultural sector.

Our publishing initiatives create a visible, supportive community — ensuring that the unique voices and experiences of young adults are represented and valued in the wider literary landscape.

Verses

We celebrate the craft — from structured sonnets to free verse that breaks every rule. Poetry in all its forms has a home here.

V

Voices

Every person carries a story. We create the stage for those stories to be heard — spoken, performed, and remembered.

V

Values

We believe poetry is never just entertainment. It carries truth, challenges thought, and has the power to change how people see the world.
